Terms & refunds

The terms that will apply to bookings. paduno is not taking bookings yet, and these are a draft for review by a qualified adviser before they come into force.

Draft · last updated October 2026 · not yet in force

Booking

  • You must be 18 or over to book or play.
  • A booking is for the specific thing the listing describes: a place in a social session, a place in a doubles session, a tournament entry for a pair, or a league entry for a pair for a season.
  • Prices are shown per player and include VAT. For pair entries, the total for the pair is also shown.
  • A booking is confirmed when you receive a confirmation email.

Cancellations and refunds

Sessions

  • Cancel two days or more before the start time for a full refund.
  • Within two days, the court has been paid for. We refund you if someone from the waitlist takes your place, and you can transfer your place to another member at a similar level.
  • If you don't turn up without cancelling, you won't be refunded. Repeated no-shows may lead to a booking restriction.

Tournaments

  • Full refund up to 7 days before. After that, refunds only if your place can be filled from the waiting list.

Leagues

  • Full refund until divisions are drawn. After that, no refund, but a substitute may play under the substitute rules.

Refunds go back to your original payment method, normally within 5–10 working days. These terms do not affect your statutory rights.

If we change or cancel

  • Courts go live only when four players have booked. Two days before, any court that isn't full is released and its players are offered another court or game, or a full refund.
  • The Full Court Guarantee. If any round of a social game you booked is played with fewer than four on your court, or we can't place you in your Level band, your spot is refunded in full. You don't have to ask. It doesn't apply if you arrive after the start or leave early.
  • If we cancel for any reason — including venue problems or weather affecting an outdoor court — you'll get a full refund or, if you prefer, a transfer to another session.
  • We'll tell you as early as we can, by email and text.

On the day

  • Arrive by the start time. Rotations and pairings are set at the start.
  • Wear flat, non-marking shoes. The captain may refuse play in footwear that could damage the court or cause injury.
  • Follow the venue's rules and the captain's instructions.

Competitions

Leagues and tournaments are run under the rules published on our Compete and Formats pages, which form part of these terms. Results can be disputed within 48 hours; the league coordinator's decision can be appealed once to paduno, whose decision is final.

Health and injury

Padel is a physical sport and carries a risk of injury. Please don't play if you are unwell or have been advised not to, and tell your captain about anything that may affect your safety. Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or anything else that cannot be limited by law.

Conduct

Everyone who plays agrees to our community code of conduct. We may cancel a booking, without refund, or end a membership if someone seriously or repeatedly breaks it.
